Since the 1990s, JEC has been immersed in the world of music, driven by an unwavering passion for rhythms and melodies. At the age of 12, he began studying drums, captivated by the energy of percussion. By 14, he discovered house music while attending iconic parties in Geneva and French clubs where the genre was emerging. He quickly immersed himself in the electronic scene by organizing events and becoming a DJ, developing a unique and captivating style.
His quest for excellence led him to pursue training in music production (MAO) and DJing, enabling him to produce his own tracks. Over the years, JEC crossed paths and performed alongside renowned artists such as Wilow, Crazy B, Mr. Mike from Radio Couleur 3, and even Laurent Garnier, an iconic figure on the French scene. Armed with his Roland Groovebox, he began composing and performing live with his group Qbox, alongside talented members like Sid (bass) and Chris (guitar).
In the early 2000s, JEC moved to England, drawn by the country’s vibrant events scene and music culture. He joined a collective of DJs in Leicester and became a resident on Demon Radio, hosting Friday night mixes and inviting fellow DJs. This chapter in the UK enriched his artistic approach and solidified his place in the electronic music scene.
Upon returning to France, he collaborated with the Kaliss Records label in Lyon, which gave him the opportunity to work on tracks with international artists such as Havoc from Mobb Deep, The Alchemist, Boot Camp Click, and on the French scene, Kacem Wapalek, notably on the track "Chut on chante".
For five years, he managed a recording studio in Lyon, producing tracks for numerous artists. However, the desire to return to his roots brought him back to his first love: house music.
Armed with his experience, collaborations, and history, JEC is back on the scene with bold, new compositions. More determined than ever, he is ready to set dancefloors on fire with his unique vision of house music, enriched by a lifetime of musical exploration.
Since January 2025, JEC has continued to push creative boundaries with the release of several standout singles: "Dreaming", "Premier Amour" (dropped especially for Valentine’s Day), and "I'm in Love", released under the full moon of March 14. These tracks serve as the official soundtrack for the concept series "The Night Call", a sonic journey through a futuristic world populated by robots and werewolves.
This year also marks strong artistic collaborations: with Splittt on the electro-pop track "Indéfini", with Marlon Maga, a Cuban artist whose voice elevates festive and deep house productions, and with TIMEKOPS, particularly on the track "With You", released in Radio Edit and extended Version. More than a collaboration, it's a genuine artistic and personal connection with Kob from TIMEKOPS that is giving rise to many new projects.
This creative momentum is also heading to the stage, with live events planned in France (Lyon, Paris) and an upcoming international tour with stops in Barcelona and Ibiza.
